Communication is critical for anyone today in public life. The ways we communicate must reflect our faith and stem from a charitable love of neighbour. This webinar will delve into communicating in general, and as a Catholic in any public context—particularly in dealing with those whom we disagree, or whom oppose us—whether in politics, volunteer roles, heated conversations, etc. Topics will include outlining the principle of charity, following a spirit of engagement, reasoning well, and the goals of effective communications.
On July 21st, 2021, Brendan and I had a great discussion with Leah Perrault, Director of Pastoral Services in the Diocese of Saskatoon and Deacon Pedro Guevara, a producer for Salt & Light Media in Canada. The recording is available for viewing here.
