   Thank you for sending the email regarding this controversial topic of gender in Olympic competitions.

   It’s a hot topic which impacts athletes all over the world. Particularly athletes who aspire to compete in the Olympics someday. I think these train and dream their whole lives about just making it to the Olympics, they devote their lives to it and take it very seriously. I have been an athlete myself but not to the level of these great Olmpeions. But I do understanding of the amount of hard work and dedication it takes to reach that level.

   I also have watched the Olympics for many years and there has always been a constant philosophy that these athletes work hard and love to compete but with respect and admiration for each other.

   But the most important element to their competitive nature is fairness. For many years it has been the gold standard in Olympics, supported by the athletes and Olympic federation.

   If this is now going to be changed by new radical forces it can only cause unrest to all who are involved in long standing competition.

   I must also add as a Christian it also a moral issue and it is another example on the morals of the world are drastically changing.
